Back9Ops

The people at your counter don't need an email address.

Seasonal help. A college kid on weekends. The retired member who covers Tuesdays. Adding them to your software shouldn't mean creating email accounts, buying seats, or handing out the manager's password.

“Why not just share one login?”

Because then nothing that happens at the counter has a name against it.

What a shared login actually costs you

It works right up until the day you need to know who did something.

  • A booking gets moved and nobody knows who moved it
  • Someone who left in August still knows the password in October
  • The one login has to be an admin, so everyone at the counter can reach your settings and your billing
  • Changing the password means telling eleven people

What Back9Ops does instead

The same model your card terminal already uses.

  • Each person is a name and their own four-digit code
  • Codes are stored scrambled and can never be read back โ€” if one is forgotten, tap once for a new one and the old one stops working
  • Someone leaves, you remove them. That's the whole task.
  • Obvious codes like 1234 are never handed out

Three steps, once.

1

Add your crew by name

Settings, then Front Desk Crew. Type the name. A four-digit code appears once โ€” write it on the schedule. Up to fifty people.

2

Turn the shop's iPad into the front desk

An admin sets the device up once. From then on it's the front desk โ€” it never asks for the manager's password again.

3

Whoever's working taps in

Four digits and they're at work. There's a Switch button on screen for the shift change, and it locks itself after ten quiet minutes.

What the desk can do โ€” and what it can't.

The front desk is built to run the day and nothing else. That isn't a limitation you configure; it's how the screen is built.

It can

  • Sign a player up for an event
  • Enroll a player in a league
  • Add someone new to your player list, or find someone who's already there
  • Print what today needs โ€” league nights and events in the next two weeks, each with a Print Now button and cart signs

It can't

  • Open your settings
  • Open your billing
  • Change your plan
  • See anything belonging to another club on your account

Three roles. No committee meeting required.

๐Ÿ”‘

Admin

Runs the club. Settings, billing, plans, and who else gets in. Usually one or two people.

๐Ÿ“‹

Organizer

Runs events and leagues from a real login with an email address โ€” the commissioner, the pro, the tournament chair.

๐Ÿงพ

Front Desk

Runs the day from the counter screen. A name and four digits. No email, no password, no seat to buy.

And you can see who did what

Changes carry a name and a time, in plain words rather than user numbers โ€” so “who moved that group?” has an answer instead of an argument.

Included on every plan

Set up your counter in about five minutes.

The Front Desk is part of Back9Ops on every plan, including Free. Add your crew, hand them their codes, and the shop's iPad is ready for Saturday.
